Amazing But True!

Saturday, my sis had a small dinner party at her place, and one of the conversations that popped up during the course of the dinner was that Shanghainese women have a thing for Singaporean men.
I'm puzzled as to why this could actually be the case but I shall give them the benefit of doubt and accept for now that they, i.e. the women, are not blind, deaf and dumb.
So, guys, there is hope yet. Some women actually find you all attractive! Anyhow, one of the reasons that was proffered was that Singaporean men are more 'manly'. (Or was it because Singaporean men were willing to do household chores? It was late, I was sleepy and I wasn't paying much attention to the conversation anyway.)
Whatever the reason, the fact remains, no matter how inexplicable it may seem. To this I say:
Eh, out of a population of 1 billion you cannot find a guy? Must come to a small teeny-weeny island of only 4 million people to find some one??
Argh. More competition for an already scarce resource. Sucks.
