*Yawn*

Man, I'm beat.

I'm almost too old to stay out till 0330 and still get to work on time in a semi-functional mode. But, I'm not old enough to not have a good time at Mambo. Surprisingly, we weren't the oldest people there - I think the award has to go to these 3 Japanese businessmen, in their suits and all.

And yeah, the synchronised dancing with the cheerleaders on the raised platform is hilarious. There was this one dude, in a white shirt, that just cracked me up. Not only did he have the moves down pat, but he had this smug grin on his face the WHOLE time, and in his spare time he was almost blowing kisses to girls in the crowd. I'd go back again just to see him. And the moves - cheesy but so so very funny at the same time. And the groupies who ape every move, but with such a bored look on their faces you kinda have to wonder why they're there.

As for the music, it's not so much 80s anymore as it is 70s, 80s AND 90s. But still, this beats the weird techno/trance music that barely has a beat. (Since I have no internal beat of my own I just can't dance to that.)

All in all, I had a good time. I'd do it again, maybe in a couple of months or so. So, pblossom, the next time you come back ditch your oh-so-cool friends and come along with me and my oh-so-very-not-cool friends. FJ, you too! You and pblossom can be cool together.

Addendum: (added at 1748)
I have done NO work at all, and my head hurts.

I am totally concussed - I had to stay up and finish some work after I got back.

But it was fun, let's go again soon! Ahahah.
