A Long Hiatus

Hello folkies. I know it's been a long while since my last post and no, I haven't been away. I took most of last week off and then I fell ill on Sunday. So now it's Wednesday and I'm back in the office for the first time in 8 days.

Right now my inbox is updating itself and it still has about 50MB to download in about 50 minutes. So I thought I'd make use of the time to blog.

Last Saturday was my grandma's 90th birthday dinner. 90 years... wow. She had a great time, with family and friends gathered round to celebrate. Photos will be out soon, I promise.

Other than that the highlights of my week off were the two meals that I cooked. Pork chop with caviar pasta and mushroom risotto. Photos and recipes to follow, I promise.

Oooh. The meds are kicking in. I'm getting woooooozy. Back in a bit.
