Win Some, Lose Some

A while back, I blogged about a certain bet and put up a really ugly picture on the sidebar. Well, the picture's gone and yes, I have lost the bet. But I'm keeping mum on when I lost the bet cos a girl doesn't tell, y'know? The upside is, at least I had a good time while losing the bet. Hahaha.

I now have another bet going on, and this one is a doozy. It's a fairly major thing to be betting on but I'm very confident I will win. Not that I would deliberately sabotage the rest of my life to win (how stupid is that?) but judging by the way things are working out in my life it's not going to happen anytime soon.

Other than that, work is really heating up. I'm already planning my third trip of the year and we've only gone through 3 weeks of 2006! The silver lining is, I'll get lots of free miles. Woohoo. I've already redeemed 75,000 miles for a quick trip to Maori-land for a wedding. BTW I never knew you still had to pay airport taxes if you redeem miles, and airport taxes are a pretty hefty part of the overall ticket fee. CAAS and Changi Airport must be making money hand over fist!

Okie dokie. Time to get back to writing up my notes. I need an assistant!

squeak: PJ is a sufficient but not necessary condition. Does that make sense? Or am I getting my math terms all wrong?
