Today marks the first day of my mom driving herself to work, so for once I was actually early for work.

Well, ok so I was merely 5 minutes early, but the point is, I no longer have to wait for my mom to get ready for work. (Of course, the guys at the office don't have to know this since it's a convenient excuse whenever I'm late. Heh.)

Plus, I don't have to drive into the CBD to pick her up anymore so that's groovy. I hate having to drive into the CBD during rush-hour traffic when all I really want to do is go home. Picking my mom up used to be at least a 20 minute detour, and it cost me $1 everytime too, thanks to ERP.

So, thanks Mom for buying yourself a new car :)
