It's
taken a LONG time but I've finally done it.
I've finally gone and pierced my ears. Haha. While most people get their ears pierced by the time they're 16, I waited until yesterday to get the job done. With the support of two good friends, I walked into the Wisma Atria shop (ear piercing in SG seems to be a monopoly because this is the first name that pops into everyone's heads), where the lady took one look at me and knew instantly that it was my first piercing. It could have been the petrified look on my face, or the fact that I was being frogmarched into the shop that gave it away.
And in the end, it wasn't even painful. Kinda of a letdown actually. I sat on the stool, the lady took out these 2 plastic cartridges that look almost like staplers, fiddled around with my earlobes and then there was a stapling sound. And that was it. I felt nothing at all. Geez. The only pain I felt was handing over 100 bucks for the earrings and some lotion. Who knew piercing your ears would be that expensive??
Anyway, once this piercing heals, I'm going back for more. Hahaha.
For the next 2 years, all presents should come in the form of earrings please. Bring them on, in all shapes and sizes (well, not too gaudy please). I have quite a few years to catch up on!
Akan datang: My next tattoo :D

Haha. See, it is a monopoly!

err.. no thanks :) i'll come watch you though :)
Posted by: moomoo at July 26, 2006 04:35 PMThat's where I got my 2nd and 3rd piercings! The third one was only one side, with the other side going to Suyin. My first pair was by a doctor in Ghim Moh -- my mother brought me for that -- and that one was freaking painful.
