Catching Up

Ok. I've been busy or, more accurately, busier than normal. Hence the lack of updates.

First: a shout out to Texas Gal. You know who you are. I didn't know you read this until Spider told me over lunch on Thursday, together with B. So, hope things are going smashingly well :) Come back and play ball some time ok?

Second, to Spider: Please stop cutting your own hair! The front's fine but the back could do with some help. So, go visit my hair stylist ok? Sabun Cabane @ Tanglin Mall, 62352910. Honestly, they're really good. Pricey but worth it. And while you're at it, get some colour too :) I'll go hold your hand if you want. Haha. Or, I'll cut your hair for you. That works for me.

Third: My phone's gone bonkers so that's why I'm not picking up most of my calls. I dropped it for the umpteenth time earlier this week so the phone's decided to throw a tantrum and go all mute on me. As a result I'm missing practically all of my calls unless I'm holding onto the phone with a deathgrip or within 3 feet of it.

Of course, there are some of you out that that I'm intentionally screening out. But you'll never know, will you?

Haha. Kidding lah.

Fourth: I spent a good amount of time over the past two weekends watching Laguna Beach on MTV. And man, I could empathise with a lot of what the show featured. Way too much in fact. It's a reality show following 8 main characters and a whole host of minors and it is just so high-school but totally real. Like, when the guy screws up and comes over to apologise, and the girl asks a tough question with an almost-smirk on her face: totally familar. Or, how the guy almost never makes eye contact with the girl while apologising or fessing up, choosing instead to stare into the distance: again, totally familar. And how people freeze each other out after fights: need I repeat myself a third time?

Which just goes to show how high-school my life has been over the past few months. (Sad, but true.) So, I'm cutting out all the drama and going with the flow from now on. I've had enough drama to last me for quite a while, thank you very much.

Okie dokie. Time to head out :) Have a good one, you guys.

I love it. I know exactly who Texas Gal, Spider and B are.

Peabrain, even before the screen loaded I knew it was you writing that line. Btw I have managed to get Nardy's name as an email ID. I plan to ruin her reputation even if it costs me mine. Yippee! Have been teaching Birdie-kins to knit. Am sure Madeline Albright and Kofi will be impressed.

Spider: You don't have much of a reputation so it won't cost you anything...

I have been knitting since I was 10!

Texas girl once said she liked the idea of wireless electricity. Maybe she's working on that now. I called her last Sunday and she said that she was on her way to buy luggage.
Have finished 1/2 a sweater since we last met. Ha ha. Since a like a loose tension to make it work up faster, you can be sure I will never knit anything slutty.
