"And as I try to make my way..."

Severe sleep deprivation today, which in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, it just depends on the reason why.

Anyhow, I think I'm going to get to see Duran Duran live! Woohoo!!! Growing up, Duran Duran was the band my older (read: cool) cousins listened to. Their room was plastered with posters of the band, and my favourite band member, for reasons that are now unknown to me, was Roger Taylor. (Maybe it was the whole bad-boy but slightly shy drummer persona that got to me...) I had no idea what the lyrics were about, and the song titles were certainly quite strange (come on, "Hungry like a Wolf"?) but Duran Duran was the first band that I really ever listened to. And now, I'm going to get to see them live.

WOOHOO! :D If anyone is interested, fly yourself up to HK by Sep 13th. I can only get one extra ticket.

And, yesterday I went back to my old school to have lunch with Ms. Educator and another school chum. After that we popped by the staff room to say hi to a couple of our teachers and amazingly, my Pr. 4 form teacher (she's now teaching at my secondary school), whom I haven't seen since I left primary school, remembered me. Name and all. She took one look at me and said "Oh I remember you. The face is the same, but not the tinted hair." Then she screwed up her face with all the mental effort, ran down our class list in her mind (good thing for her I was 6th in alphabetical order) and came up with my name.

Wow. So apparently I look exactly the same as I did when I was 10. Hahaha.

wah lau wonder if YSL remembers me.
Hey I dreamt of Ms Educator last night. She was trysting with someone called Daihe. Now her hair inspiring enough for me to pay $300 three years back to imitate the look (hint, hint)
Its creepy how we all know exactly who you're talking about...the hint friendly nicknames must help. *scratch head* who was the other school chum, give a nick!

pblossom: Yep, Ms Yeo. And yes, she is the HOD now. Your grapevine is well-developed!

Spider: Are you sure you know who I'm talking about? As for the other school chum, hm... tough one. She went to Berkeley w/ me, that's all I can say.
