Sun's Out!
The sun's
finally out! For the first time in weeks, I'm feeling warm and toasty. And just in time too, cos this weekend there's going to be a softball carnival at Kallang. It should be good fun and a great way to catch some rays.
The only downer is, I have to report for duty at 0730 on Sunday morning. Man. For someone who likes to wake up past noon on weekends, that is a tall order. But, like I said to my teammate, once in a while it's good to catch the sunrise :)
Since it's such a nice day, I thought I'd pick 10 random things that make my day.
1) Nice, sun-shiney days like today!
2) Getting deals at 65% off
3) Making wine charms with my sister on a lazy Thursday night
4) Hearing cheery, upbeat songs on the drive into work, and not having to deal with donkeys on the road
5) Calling people donkeys (it's got a nice ring to it)
6) Friday afternoons, with the weekend looming
7) A good bitchfest
8) Finding time to experiment in the kitchen
9) Drinks with good friends after a long workday
10) Getting unexpected phone calls
