Wanted: An Explanation, Any Explanation

I've been sitting here for a while trying to come up with an explanation but it's escaping me. So if anyone can make sense of the picture that I'm about to describe, drop me a mail cos I'm tired of scratching my head in puzzlement.

Walking back to the office from lunch, I saw a group of girls wearing green shirts with this strange picture on the back. It was a witch on the left sitting on a broomstick, with a pointy hat and a crooked nose, and her hands were outstretched towards a fox with its mouth tied up. And the speech bubble above the witch said: "O sweet sly fox. God, give me patience."

WTF?!?!?!?

If anyone can explain this, he/she will receive some quantity of home-made strawberry and honey ice cream! :D

Hmm. Very strange. Maybe these girls really want to look foxy but they can't because they have taken a vow of chastity?
