Silly Girl
gets on the red-eye to Seoul and finds herself sitting next to an Australian dude. Who snores. Very loudly. Silly Girl gets only 4 hours of sleep the whole night and has to face the prospect of doing 4 meetings the moment she gets off the plane.
Silly Girl rues the day and hates all red-eyes.
Luckily Silly Girl makes it through all the meetings without falling asleep, although she comes really really close in the 2nd meeting. Silly Girl is thankful for the wonder drug of Mother Nature's that is caffeine.
When Silly Girl gets back to the hotel, she enjoys a super yummy beef bulgogi and reaffirms her belief that she absolutely loves Korean food. (And Indian food. And Thai food. And Vietnamese food. And Italian food... Silly Girl has yet to meet a cuisine that she does not like.) Then Silly Girl heads out to Myeongdong and walks about the busy streets of Seoul, enjoying the warm night and the crowds and the sights.
And then, joy of joy, Silly Girl spies a Coldstone Creamery! Silly Girl loves Coldstone Creamery, ever since her college roomie brought her to one in Pasadena. Silly Girl resolves to come back to Coldstone Creamery when she has more space in her tummy and has more pals to share ice cream with, and is thankful that she has 3 nights to spend in Seoul.
On the way back, Silly Girl pops into a Krispy Kreme and orders a chocolate iced, custard-filled donut. The nice lady at the counter throws in a piping hot glazed donut for free. Yippee! Then Silly Girl watches a Korean kiddie choir perform outside City Hall for a bit before heading back.
All in all, Silly Girl's had a good day. :D
