Am
at the airport with some time to spare before my flight to HK so I decided to squeeze in some blogging time.
I had some time today so I decided to take the MRT from work to the airport, instead of hopping onto a cab. It took me a total of 40 minutes to get from City Hall to Changi Airport, including waiting time for trains. I suppose if the trains had arrived in sync with one another the travel time could have been cut by about 5-8 minutes.
Total cost: S$1.44
Hassle: none
I think I'll take this mode of transport more often, especially if I'm not in a rush and I don't have a ton of luggage.
And, I managed to try out the jjim tak recipe that I mentioned in the last post - it turned out pretty good except that the flavours weren't as strong as the one I had in Korea. Next time I'll probably cook the stew ahead of time and let the flavour develop for a while before serving. I'll put up the recipe in a later post, along with the beef rolls that I made for dinner last night. Cooking is FUN! I wonder how come I never enjoyed it this much during Home Ec classes...
Ok, time to jet. Gotta walk all the way to the other end of the airport :) Laters!
