Ok people, hold your horses!

Stop all gift-buying from the wishlist!

I have seen the light, and it is good.

It is silver.
It is strappy.
It is shiny.

It is a pair of Jimmy Choo sandals that give the lovely lovely illusion of legs that go on for miles. Silver strappy sandals with 4 1/2" stiletto heels that just scream "BUY US!". Because when you wear them you look taller, slimmer; in a word, you look goooood.

But alas, the damn things are E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E. So much so that even I, a fervent practitioner of the "buy first, think later" rule, have had to balk and put it on hold. So for the next 3 days I will haunt the Jimmy Choo boutique at Takashimaya, looking wistfully at the silver strappy sky-high sandals with my name on it and wondering if I should just heck it and indulge myself in a frivolous extravagance.

That is, unless all you guys give me cold hard cash for my birthday :D

I hereby announce the launch of the "Get May a pair of Jimmy Choo's" fund. All donations will be greatly appreciated, in all denominations. I can just see it now, strutting up to the boutique on Saturday, opening up all sorts of angpows and paying with fistfuls of cash.
