I have been
obsessed the past few days with racing. Fluff racing to be exact.
It all started on New Year's Day when dear ol' Moo Moo told us about her ambitions to grow her fluff pet into a champion racer. The next day, it was slow going at work so I logged into FB and started feeding my own fluff pet. And racing. And petting. And racing some more. And then, before I knew it, I was halfway towards winning a bronze trophy and I was HOOKED.
On Thursday, after more feeding and racing and petting (quick summary: you pet other people's fluff pets to get munny, you use the munny to buy food to make your own fluff pet faster and then you race your fluff pet to improve its stats to win trophies! QED!) I won my bronze trophy and promptly set my sights on getting my Cowie a silver trophy. Cos you know, one piece of silverware is never enough for a girl.
It got to be so bad that on Friday, when I happened to wake up early for a change, I decided to switch on the computer and spend 15 solid minutes petting all my friends' pets just to make munny. If that's not a sign of obsession I don't know what else qualifies.
Anyhow, on Friday afternoon Cowie finally won the silver trophy. Which promptly sent dear ol' Moo Moo into a fit of whining at the injustice of it all, that she had introduced me to fluff racing and I had managed to win a silver trophy before she did. He he he. My strategy: I picked on the weak. I concentrated mainly on challenging those pets whose stats were way below mine and whose moods were really poor and I stayed away from any pets who had faster speeds than I did.
So now my fluff friend has not one but two trophies! And I have decided to retire Cowie from competitive fluff racing. Just because it would take too much time and energy to feed Cowie enough food to make him fast enough - my cousin's fluff friend has a speed of over 6000 whereas Cowie's is only 800, and she has a winning percentage of over 90% whereas Cowie's is only 77%.
Plus, just imagine the monumental fit dear ol' Moo Moo would have! :)
